Technology Driven
- State-of-the-Art Technology: Derived from aerospace technology.
- Reliable RQC System: Continuous quality control on every run eliminates the potential for erroneous results, ensuring confidence of accuracy.
- Portable Spectrophotometer: The optical system includes a xenon arc stroboscopic lamp and a beam-splitter/detector capable of reading nine wavelengths. A heater maintains the disc at 37±0.2°C during the reaction portion of the analysis.
- Microfluidic Reagent Disc: Developed based on microfluidic technology, the 8 cm diameter disc contains all required diluent and dry reagents to perform a panel of tests. Thirty cuvettes accommodate different reagent sensitivities and analyte concentrations, with pre-measured, lyophilized reagent beads for each chemistry in the panel.
- Efficient Testing Process: The disc meters the required amount of blood, separates red cells, meters plasma and diluent, mixes fluids, distributes fluid to reaction cuvettes, and mixes reagents and diluted plasma in cuvettes. The analyser monitors reactions simultaneously using nine wavelengths, calculates results, and reports them on the screen and through a convenient thermal roll-tape printer.
